Orion Peoples: an introduction to the stories

Orion is a direction in our sky, not one star system. Stories using its name can refer to very different spiritual or cultural frameworks. L/L Research’s Orion group should not automatically be merged with every account of an Orion empire.

A 1991 channelled session by Lyssa Royal describes an Empire and a resistance called the Black League. The story emphasizes a stalemate sustained by similar methods on both sides. It is a source-specific account, not an independently established conflict history.

The archive compares story traditions rather than constructing one definitive canon. Record the author, session or publication date before combining a claim with material from another source. A repeated idea can spread through copying instead of independent agreement.

Start with the distinction between observation and interpretation. A person can describe an experience sincerely while its cause remains unsettled. Channelled accounts introduce another layer: they are communications claimed by their practitioners, not independently authenticated transmissions.
